As a Community Development Specialist Renee works to build direct and authentic relationships with education communities that help them discover, use and love Microsoft products and technologies. A certified Microsoft Innovative Educator Trainer, she delivers professional development, workshops and presentations to educators across the lower mainland in order to empower students and teachers with 21st century skills such as collaboration, creativity and problem solving. An advocate for children’s STEM education, Renee is a certified Minecraft Education Edition Trainer and supports district wide implementations of the program, along with various coding initiatives. On behalf of Microsoft Stores, Renee supports district leaders, school admins and IT professionals in facilitating implementation and adoption, and ultimately helping educators bring technology to the classroom in meaningful ways.
