I am passionate about teaching with technology in an online setting, using virtual worlds and Google Suite; leveraging student choices and questions. I teach in beta; I use student ideas and passion to drive inquiry projects that we reflect on to improve. In both VW 8 and SE VW 8/9 (integrated, cross curricular, 4 and 5 course programs; SE VW is taught with April McLeod) we have weekly real time meetings, use flipped methods to engage students and build relationships, while leading students to stretch areas of challenge, deepen strengths. I have Level 1 and 2 Google Educator Certification. I live in Kelowna; family is important, but 100 words is short.
