I also work as a Continuing Teacher Education Instructor for Queen’s University where I teach Teaching and Learning in an Intercultural Setting and BC First Nations, Metis, and Inuit Peoples courses. I am also a freelance digital course developer having authored courses at the secondary and post-secondary levels including “Philosophy 12” and “BC First Nations, Metis, and Inuit Peoples”. I completed my undergraduate degrees at The University of the Fraser Valley (BA), Simon Fraser University (Bed) and my graduate degree at the University of British Columbia (Med).
Currently, I am the Aboriginal Education Teacher Lead at my school. In this leadership position, I am responsible for keeping my staff up to date on new resources, current events, and supporting them with incorporating the First Peoples Principles of Learning into their practices and facilitating Professional Development workshops.
