7 Steps to Making Learning More Accessible
In this session we will explore ways to improve student focus, increase reading comprehension, and demonstrate environments where students are able to express their understanding. Using inputs other than keyboarding and text, we will empower all students to achieve more by integrating assistive technology. This session will enable educators to better meet the needs of diverse learners. Come learn how Microsoft's accessibility features can support differentiated learning in your classroom.

Content Connections Learning Analytics Platform
Content Connections is pleased to introduce our next generation learning platform. Considerable research, thought and consultation has gone into developing the Learning Analytics Platform (LAP).
Our experienced research team identified important factors that make meaningful difference in student performance in a self-paced and paced learning environment. From the research, our development team conceptualized a user-friendly learning platform. Analytics tools were developed part of the platform to measure, collect, analyse and report out data about the learners and their contexts, for purposes of understanding and optimizing learning.
Learning Analytics Platform (LAP) is designed with keeping in mind all stakeholders; students, educators, parents and administrators. LAP is specifically designed:

• for learners to reflect on their achievements and patterns of behavior in relation learning standards;
• for parents to monitor progress and effective support;
• To identify students requiring extra support and attention;
• to help teachers and support staff plan supporting interventions with individuals and groups;
• for functional groups such as course teams seeking to improve current courses or develop new curriculum offerings; and
• for administrators taking decisions on matters related to program development (tentative release date 2020-2021).

Come drop by anytime to experience Moodle. Check out http://moodleyoga.com for all demonstrations and learn some yoga in Moodle. Join our hourly live streams between 11 and 3 on Monday for Yoga poses, live tips, interviews etc at our conference Moodle at http://moodleyoga.com or come in person at our booth.

No doubt, many attendees will have working experience with Moodle - be it in their own university studies or in their past and present teaching assignments. Nevertheless, there are many cool new and interesting things one can do with Moodle.

The playground is designed to let you play and discover while expert Moodle geeks (and yogis too!) are on hand. Some things you will be able to experience:
  • Join us for hourly tips and tricks for infusing a little more zen into your day - specifically geared for the stressed and overworked online educator
  • Collect tokens for all sessions and enter to win a price
  • Easy collection of digital artifacts and submitting for grading using tablets and phones
  • Accelerate your grading using digital pens
  • Watch what's going on in a Moodle server at the backend
  • Have fun playing with various course formats
  • Take any plugin for a spin - if it breaks our demo site - no worries!
  • Simple techniques to improve the look and feel of your courses
  • See some examples of what can be done when pulling data from Moodle and bringing it into simple custom applications

Content Connections Customer Meeting: Learning Analytics Platform and Direction Moving Forward

• for learners to reflect on their achievements and patterns of behavior in relation learning standards;
• for parents to monitor progress and effective support;
• To identify students requiring extra support and attention;
• to help teachers and support staff plan supporting interventions with individuals and groups;
• for functional groups such as course teams seeking to improve current courses or develop new curriculum offerings; and
• for administrators taking decisions on matters related to program development (tentative release date 2020-2021).

You'll leave the session ready to engage in your very own #Fliphunt, which uses the student's video recording abilities to engage in a scavenger hunt.
