Teacher
Victoria, B.C.
Amanda has been a teacher at JDFDL, in SD62 since 2015. In the Spring of 2020, she completed her Masters of Arts in Learning and Technology at Royal Roads University where she focused her final applied research paper on ways to improve community within her self-paced, online courses. It is through her experiences as a DL teacher, and through her masters, that she has started to look, plan and adapt her courses to better serve her students. When not at work, Amanda enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and dog.
